Exotic perk details: Getting kills gives you stacks of Clover, each stack of clover allows you to switch to either a shotgun, sniper rifle or an auto rifle for a singular magazine per stack of clover. You can carry up to 5 stacks of clover. Clover stacks disappear when you die. Alternate firing modes can be used by pressing the button used to reload instead of holding it.

Intrinsic perk details: this allows you gain stacks of Beef up which are gained by killing enemies using the alt firing modes of the weapon, you can gain up to 5 stacks of beef up , they disappear on death and dissipate slowly over time. Beef up buffs the firing modes, each stack increases stability and handling by 5% per stack for the hand cannon and sniper rifle firing mode while the stacks increase 5% per stack of range and reload speed for the shotgun and auto rifle modes. You can use stacks of beef up by Holding the melee button. When Beef up is activated it lasts for however many bullets are left in your magazine.
