When you get revived (for the first time) do you have a predetermines class or do you get to pick? (real lore not game related)

I’m not sure if there is any established lore, but there are a few theories on this topic. One of them is that there are no predetermined subclasses, but each guardian naturally falls into a class based on their personality. A thought that came to me once is that the ghost could choose for you based on what it knows about you since it’s been stated that the ghosts know what their guardian will be like. Although, that’s just speculation.
