In the mission 1AU, we see a considerable chunk, of mercury being converted to fuel. If Mercury is left nearly torn apart, won’t the suns gravity pull the floating pieces? And if so what would happen with the inner planet exposed? Could the lighthouse be doomed?!? What do you think?
We’ve been told the Vex and the cultists are clinging to the remnants of the planet. But maybe the Light stopped it from being pulled into the Sun, or maybe from Vex engineering.
Curse of Osiris takes place after the Red War. Unless Bungie changed the way Mercury looks in the Redux 1AU mission I wouldn’t worry about it.
