Regarding differing dialogue in strikes, you’re totally right @unisys12. I don’t have a good way of displaying this at the moment. With the Will of Crota Transcript I used this format:
Eris Omnigul’s only purpose is to usher in Crota’s return. If she lives, our fight against Crota’s armies my never end. — or — Eris Omnigul’s only purpose is to usher in Crota’s return. She failed, but wont stop fighting until her master’s will is done
This isn’t ideal, but I think it’s better to keep the alternative dialogue lines in the right place within the Transcript — I feel like it would be confusing to have the “alternate” at the end.
@ZeeFour I think the problem is that the Director version can have different versions. Will of Crota is a good example here, the Director version has one line that is spoken differently at random.
Until I can decide on a better way of dealing with this, I’ll just use that formatting…
Alright, breathes in, I’m going for “Outbound Signal” this weekend hopefully.
I’ll try my best to edit it using my PS4 and transcribing it if I get the chance.
This is a big commitment but I’m willing to try.
Our main concern is dialogue right… because I’m trying to get some decent footage of the echo chamber mechanics, but the blueberries I’m getting are mostly concerned about destroying everything in 2 minutes… lol. Damn you Imago loop farmers…!
You’re right, I was hoping to get some more footage of the back and forth with the relics and the wall rotation… I’ll cue in a few more times and see what I can grab… maybe I’ll get lucky… i remember when this strike would take 45 minutes to complete…lol.
@pirate_dani I’ve been crossing them out once I’ve converted them into Transcripts on the Ishtar Collective website. It’s really just for me to keep track of things!
I have 2 and a half transcripts ready to submit. Ok, truthfully, 1 completely ready transcript. One video awaiting editing then transcribing and one video which is currently taking its sweet time uploading to youtube. But, over the next 4 hours thats three topics I need to create
Really sorry @pirate_dani, @ZeeFour ran into the same problem. From reading the documentation on the forum software that we use, it seems that initially users are limited in the number of posts they can make… I’m not 100% sure how to get around it!
Thats ok. I was going to make a topic in the forum feedback area to try and get details on what our restrictions are and if/how we can level up. But, I still have to wait another hour before I can do that, lol.
