It’s really not that bad guys…
The way I see it, all the supers/elements use some form of universal principal. For example, Arc energy is just the law of electromagnetism, which causes electricity, and that kids is how I met your mother. That’s just the way i see it though, so if anyone has a different view on it i would like to hear it.
That might have been just a hair to far… but you aren’t wrong.
hey Jubi you should probably rename this (if you want to) to something to do with using science to justify supers
also im working on an estimate for the voltage of an arcstaff
Probably. Well I’ll get right on that.
Ta da! Now we have our new topic!
I know I’m fairly late, but, I would still like to have some input into the conversation anyway.
I don’t think we pull “material” as we know it from anywhere. I think it’s more of a form of hard light rather than a Golden Gun being made of metal, or a Dawnblade an actual sword. Perhaps it’s more like a summoned weapon of the Light, being forged in real time as we cast it. With the knowledge that the Light is paracausal, and therefore has Guardians will what they want to harm with that power, it’s not unreasonable to think that Guardians don’t harm themselves because they choose not to harm themselves.
This is all just educated guess, however. If anyone wants to poke holes in my thoughts, go ahead.
Well this is supposed to be like, a discussion of what would happen to you if you didn’t have the paracasuality of the Light. So like. What would happen when you summon the Dawnblade then??
I don’t think without the power of the Light, you even would be able to summon a Dawnblade. Now, if you were someone without the power of the Light, and you were seen as an enemy, such as, I don’t know, a random Dreg? Well… We know how that ends.
Okay, so, let’s say there is no Light. But you can use your Super? What would it do to just a normal person summoning it??
Well, the sheer heat and power of the flame would burn you to a crisp. Such a flash of heat you’d probably just get killed rather quickly.
Also, you like UT too?
Finally, I wish we could all have the option to change the font we see. It’d be so much fun.
Ideas man. Also you too? I thought I was alone in this world (well other than my gf and another guy but he was a dick). Neither of those two are on the forum tho.
I really want to see Austin cover a video where a Stormcaller/Striker generates all the power for the city
wait we have spartanlock and voidlock now?
YES PLEASE or Fist of Panic. I tried to do that but I haven’t found how much energy the smash would lose as it moves through the ground also they would be slapping a ball of energy equal to like… 3 gigawatts or something of energy into the floor. SO… that’d be fun right? I so want to see him to Nova Bomb tho. I can already imagine him screaming about how that would end the solar system or even the universe.
Apparently so. What will be next I wonder…?
I think that the “Weapons of Light” you speak of aren’t actually us forging the weapon in the supers you talked about, or at least the Golden Gun. The way I see it is that, in the case of a Hunter, is just channeling Solar energy into it. I say “Energy” because I see the Light as more of a catalyst to help Guardians pass the power of these sources into their supers.
If you don’t have a revolver equipped or even on your character… then where is it coming from, as with the staff and bow?
Light solidifies into hard light (haha pun) and then you use it like that.
