I haven’t played as a Warlock in a long time, but I’m working one up the levels so I can blink because it’s the best jump by far in the game, it’s totally not because of the Nova Warp, I promise
mate you haven’t faced an angry novawarp, you havent BB it to no avail, you dont know the pain the lone hunter feels when he is so close to the kill only to be solo supered, pouring bullets into the damage sponge, now Ive met some decent warlocks, but my experience with them has scarred me and continues to
hunters have the worst supers but have doges, speed, and good exotics, titans have decent supers with a few exceptions, high resilience and a few good exotic, warlocks have good supers, high health regen, and I dont know enough about the exotics, ive already ranted about the hunters lackluster supers, you can find it a bit above
You’re right, I haven’t. Then again if I ever manage to get back on then I will be the angry Nova Warp.
I am a Warlock. Also most posts for groups want a warlock (mostly for their well or for slova). One time I found a group that needed 3 locks (Phase 2 SotP of course)
why wouldn’t they mate, as ive said before they dont really have any downsides, great supers, fast hp regen, dont know about warlock exotics but they cant be that bad
So I tried a Warlock yesterday from what all you Warlock mains said, and I still stand by what I said about the mobility of the different classes. In my opinion it’s a little easier to get around as a Hunter. Some of this did come from the fact that the warlock is only like level 48 so I don’t have access to my normal arsenal or lots of legendary armor for more mobility. I’m not saying it’s much worse than Hunter, or lots less fun, I just enjoy the playstyle of Hunter more than that of a Warlock. All that being said, it was nice to finally try Nova Warp and have a reliable super for the first time in a while(this isn’t counting spectral blades because the hit regestration is sometimes a little wonky). To summerise, I’m still going to main Hunter, but will keep that Warlock in my back pocket(or at least thats the plan for now).
ill always be a hunter, glad your stayin true
Then you haven’t seen a Warlock with max mobility armor, and Top Tree Dawnblade. Because you can launch yourself from one end of the map to the other while flinging fiery death from above.
To be fair that is during the super so it is limited in its use, while hunter mobility is there based on the character modal alone
I’ve played a Hunter, and while there is some mobility, remember one thing.
The Warlock’s Boost Jump, and the possibility of Warlock Skating. Hunters, with all their little tricks, can’t exactly amount to someone who has a boost based jump, which allows them more speed with their jump. Besides, they don’t even have Blink anymore. Which just makes it that much worse for them.

Like I meantioned Ember, it’s still a lower level character and haven’t worked for armor, but rest assured I will slowly get armor with mobility and try it out.
I know, that was my way of encouraging you to continue, because what I was doing was trying to tell you that “You just gotta figure it out.” in my own way.
Warlock.
They may not be the best class, but they are the coolest.
I thought so just saying that I haven’t worked on it very muchso can’t use some of the better things for it.
I main a warlock, but I play all classes.
I can say that they are definitely not the coolest.
Titans can literally be Superman and crash into the ground (Code of the Missile).
Hunters have some really bad supers (Shadowshot), and some pretty good ones (BB and Spectral). Golden Gun might not be that good, but it looks cool.
I’d say the only decent Warlock supers are Nova Bomb, Chaos Reach, and Well of Radiance (I never got the hang of Dawnblade).
Chaos Reach for gambit and bosses (with Geomag Stabilizers), Nova Bomb for anything lol, Well of Radiance is for PVE, mehh in PVP.
as a victim of many warlocks ive determined that effective supers include 1. nova warp: it was nerfed but the grenade op 2. slova bomb: no escape 3. Chaos reach if you pull it on people without adequate cover 4. dawnblade if you can use it 5. well of RAD, any objections?
I’d say that the grenade’s alright for Nova Warp when you compare it to shotguns like Dust Rock, Mindbenders, and Retold Tale, they’re all pretty much 1-hits if you’re close enough. Not too OP in the current meta.
ehh fair point, maybe Im still remembering the glory days of NW
WHY DOES EVERYONE THINK SHADOWSHOT IS TRASH! ITS INCREDIBLE IN PVE AND DECENT IN PVP, OR AT LEAST IN MAYHEM.
Okay I should stop yelling now.
